Microsoft Corporation ( India ) the leading software company is all set to open 14 innovation centres in India next week . This was confirmed by the company officials. These centres would help students to know more on Microsoft platforms and their products . In another two years, Microsoft is planning to build another 100 innovation centres. The company officials said that the innovation centres would emphasize on cloud computing, e-reading and mobility.
So, the students of certain educational institutions will be encouraged to do their internships at these innovation centres and when such interns get job in Microsoft companies, then they would perform the duties with much ease since they would be knowing about Microsoft platforms.
Each MIC will function as a hub for five other neighboring colleges and will operate in a hub-spoke model driving employability, innovation, and entrepreneurship in the academic ecosystem around it. The 14 cities that will host the first MICs, opening this week will be Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Khammam, Bapatla, Guntur and Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh, Raipur in Chhattisgarh, Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh ,Trichy, Vellore, Coimbatore, Madurai and Salem in Tamil Nadu .
