CyanogenMod 10 for LG Prada 3.0

Welcome to the unofficial CyanogenMod 10 nightlies

The releases will co-inside and the build start time is at 03:01 UTC every SUNDAY night and should be uploaded soon after. If at anytime the builds are not there, then there was a problem building the ROM, and we will have a look at it ASAP.

These builds are compiled from the latest CyanogenMod repos and device repos on device and vendor files.

Furthermore these builds are multiDPI, i.e. you can run the rom at any dpi between 160 and 240 while having hi-res assets.

The boot images are signed and a custom kernel is included:

Initial install
Make sure you are updated to stock LG ICS update (v20d) prior flashing the first time.
And remember to wipe data/cache
(These steps need only to be done once. Later updates can be just flashed over an existing installation without the need of a wipe)

A-- > Default ics bar mode is set to fullscreen mod for gaming. To change go to settings-> Display-> Fullscreen Mode--> Normal

2) Getting "Servor Error" in Google Play Store

Entering Recovery & Download Modes 

How to get into Recovery Mode

1. Unplug the USB cable.
2. Shut down the phone.
3. Hold down the 'HOME' + 'VOLUME UP' buttons and press the 'POWER' button for about 5 seconds to enter Recovery Mode.

How to get into Download Mode (eg: for Odin)

1. Unplug the USB cable.
2. Shut down the phone.
3. Hold down the 'HOME' + 'VOLUME DOWN' buttons and press the 'POWER' button for about 2 seconds until a WARNING! Screen appears. Press the 'VOLUME UP' button to enter Download Mode.
4. To get out of Download Mode, simply press and hold the power button until the phone restarts.

Tip 1 to increase internet speeds on Datacard and USB Modems

If you’re on Internet Explorer, do the following to speed up your internet on your Datacard/USB.

1. Go to “Start” and click on “Run”
2. Enter “regedit” and hit “Ok” and now the Registry Editor will open
3. Expand “HKEY_CURRENT_USER”
4. Expand Software, Microsoft, Windows, Current Version
5. Click on Internet Settings
6. MaxConnectionPer1_0Server and MaxConnectionPerServer indicates the maximum number of connections per page
7. Double click on one of these registries to change it. Set the radio button to DECIMAL and increase the values from default to a higher value, for example 10. Do the same with the other registry.

Tip 2 to increase internet speeds on Datacard and USB Modems

If you’re on Firefox, do the following to speed up your internet on your Datacard/USB.

1. Start Firefox and type: about:config in the address bar and hit “Enter”.
2. Type: network.http.pipe in the Filter search bar on top.
3. Double click on the network.http.pipelining string to change its value to true.
4. If you use a proxy, set network.http.proxy.pipelining to true as well.
5. Double click on the network.http.pipelining.maxrequests string to change its interger value to 35.
6. Right click anywhere on the Configuration screen and select “New” and then “Boolean”.
7. Enter browser.turbo.enabled as the new Boolean name and click “Ok”. Now set the value of the Boolean to true.

Tip 3 to increase internet speeds on Datacard and USB Modems

First, go to Start -> Network -> Network and Sharing Center, and then click on “Manage Network Connections.”

In this screen, you’ll likely have a wireless connection displaying that it can’t connect to any network. Right-click on that icon and select “Properties.”

You’ll find both IPv6 and IPv4 enabled. Go ahead and uncheck the box for IPv6 and click “OK.” You’ll need to reboot your computer, but afterwards if the protocol incompatibility was your problem (and it very likely was), you’ll find that your computer can now communicate fine with the router. Maybe. There is one other complication Microsoft introduced into Vista just to encourage you that much more to upgrade your router – it’s something called “autotuning,” and it’s also the next Vista tweak.
